Registration at online Internet auction eBay is easy and free (as a membership), and if you will stick our instructions, it will be easy for you and won’t take a lot of time. In principle, it does not matter at which branch of the eBay auction you are registered (there are about 30 branches worldwide), since logging only once at any of them you get access to all the rest affiliates using your login and password. All the products exhibited at the auctions from all branches of eBay auction represent a single database that is accessible to users from any branch of the auction, so viewing lots just note the row “Country” it is the country of the seller and his product.

During the registration preferably (but not necessarily) not to use email address of well-known free post service. The most best option would be to use the mailbox received from your Internet provider.

Step № 2: On the following page, to start the registration, at the top of the page click “register” at “Sign in or register”, and wait until the full downloading of the page with registration form.

Step № 3: First, you need to choose your country of residence. At the right side of the opened page find “Country or Region”. By default, established United States.

Step № 4: Enter personal information.

Primary telephone - in format: international country code, city code, phone number
Email address – Type it. Copying is blocked.
Re-enter email address - Repeat your e-mail. Type it. Copying is blocked.

Create an eBay User ID - Create your login (do not use your e-mail and popular logins – there are millions of people who use the system and most of logins are already occupied. Use something like: Jonny493. If your login is already occupied - you will be asked to enter a new login or any details about yourself.

Keep in mind that your login will be used in the URL of your lots pages (when you begin to sell). So, try to create login witch reflects the essence of your business. For example, if you plan to sell antiques, think of something like AntiquaryMan, AntiqBoy, AntiquarianGirl. User ID can be changed only once in 30 days.

Important! Do not use as your User ID your last name or Email!

When you enter created login, you can click “Check Availability of User ID” on the right and see whether it is available (“This User ID is available”).

Create password* - a password (not less than 6 symbols, use letters and figures in different registers) – Do not use simple password! And never, under any circumstances, do not tell it anybody, even if you get a letter (so to say) from eBay! Swindlers often use the trick with false letters from the eBay auction!

Re-enter password* - repeat password.

Secret question* - choose a question, the answer to which you will give if you forget your password. You can choose: What is your mother’s maiden name?

Secret answer * - Enter the answer for the secret question.
Your birthday - the date of your birth. Enter.

Please read the auction eBay User Agreement and Privacy Policy (I'm 18 years old, I provided correct data about myself, I'm not selling drugs, weapons, do not use fake credit card numbers, and don’t send spam etc.), and if you agree with it (for a successful registration you must accept the Agreement) put the tick next to “I agree that”

Press Register.

If the system do not requested data of plastic your card and you saw the inscription - Check your email, then go to Step № 6. But do not forget that these data are likely to be asked after the registration, when trying to place a bet. If you have any difficulties with the entering of the card-requisites - you find help at this page (step № 5).

Step № 5: On the next page, you will likely be asked to “Confirm Identity” through plastic card data. This is a requirement of the security of eBay auction (some users are opening 2-3 accounts and make bets to rise the price for their lots etc.). Money won’t be withdrawn from the card (registration and membership is free).

Credit card number * - Number of your card (usually located on the front side). Enter without spaces or dashes.

* Expiration date - month and year of expiration of your card.

Card Identification Number * - The last three figures located on the back of your plastic card, near your signature (CVV2 - code)

Cardholder name * - If the entered in the registration form address does not match the address, on which was registered card click “change” and enter the address on which your credit card is registered.

Billing address * - Enter your address (if it does not coincide with the entered address), which you used to sign credit card.

Click Continue.

Step № 6: If everything was done well - check your e-mail, which you provided in the registration form. Find a letter from eBay with the topic: Complete Your eBay Registration.

Step № 7: In the received letter click “Activate Now” to confirm your registration.

If the link does not work, then in the received letter find special code (Write down this confirmation code ...), remember or write it down, then in a letter (or here) press at this link: http://pages.ebay. com/register
and on the opened page, type:

Email address - your e-mail address (on which you received a letter).

Enter code from email - in this field (if it has not filled) enter the code from the received letter.

Click Create my account.

Step № 8: When you will see the inscription "You can now bid and buy" the registration on eBay auction finished. Now select the category that interests you and start to explore lots and make bet. Most sellers take payment for its goods through PayPal payment system. To pay for goods purchased independently you can immediately become its user - registration and membership in the Paypal also absolutely free.Click Create my account. Click Create my account.
