Roberts released solarDAB – the first DAB receiver in the world using solar energy.

You can laugh at its old-fashioned design, but you can be sure in one thing – guys from Roberts trim their sails to the wind!
Their last creation is also old fashioned as for its design (but undoubtedly this retro style with leave modern forms in the dust as for some characteristics). This is a DAB radio which as you can guess from its name (“SolarDAB”) is consuming energy of solar batteries. Radio receiver is equipped with a solar battery mounted into the upper surface of the receiver and there is an indicator on display showing the level of consumed energy. After the batteries are fully charged, radio is able working for outstaying time – 27 hours! After that you will have to put your receiver again right under the sun. The price of this pleasure is 8 and the choice of color is left to you.
